Why would you want to do this? If you only make use of free reprint articles from the huge article directories, you’ll not only be opposing with everyone else who’s using them for search engine ranking, but you’ll also have to put someone else’s resource box at the bottom of each article.
These types of links send page rank to someone else’s site and not your own. They also send your hard won traffic to someone else. Isn’t it better to have articles on your site without these other links?
Here’s the one key snag with using PLR articles though. Sometimes these same articles are sold to hundreds of others to employ as content. What if 1,000 other sites have already used this exact same article? How are you going to rank for the same article. You’re not.
The best way to utilize PLR articles is to redraft them. You only have to rework them enough to make the search engines see them as different. I do not suggest you make use of a full auto article spinner though. These usually don’t work very well. They just replace words here and there and don’t even make sense when a human reads them. When you’re done, all you’re left with is junk that looks it was written by a first grader that doesn’t speak english.
This method is not going to work. This is a total waste of time. Keep your money in your pocket. It’s especially bad form to submit this kind of junk to article directories. You won’t get your article used and you’ll probably end up loosing your account.
What I do recommend, is starting with a good quality plr article that pertains to your theme and using a semi automated process to rephrase it. I’ve found a great tool that does exactly that. I have a link to the software on my site. While using this software, you can create a unique copy of your PLR article and post it to article directories and your own website or blog. It’s of the kind of quality you won’t be afraid to put your name on.
I only amend plr articles for my own sites and blogs. If I’m going to submit an article to an article directory, I may use a plr article just to acquire ideas to write about. But I’ll write the article in my own words and add some more information to it. Don’t spin a bunch of articles and submit them to the article directories. Make sure you put some thought into them and write them yourself.
You don’t want your article to wind up in the supplemental index with all the other copies. After you spin or rephrase it, the search engines will see it as unique.
Where can you get plr articles? You have several choices. You can buy plr packs online or you can join a plr association site for a monthly fee. But there is a better option that won’t cost you a penny. There are some places on the Internet that offer totally free PLR articles. Why would anyone do something like this? Many of these site do this in order to acquire your name and email address which you have to give them in exchange for the free PLR articles. They then are able to add you to their mailing list and send you offers to buy.
I guess that’s a fair trade for the free content they’re giving you. Some plr sites will give you totally free plr content and not even ask for your email address. What do they get out of it then? They make their money by putting affiliate ads and adsense ads on their website and hope you buy something or click on the ads.
Never just take the articles and slap them up on your site. Don’t even think of submitting them to article directories either. Remember, you have to spin them or alter them to make them unique. Don’t just slap it up because it’s quicker. This will get you nowhere and just be a waste of your time. Make your content exclusive and the search engines, as well as your visitors will be glad.
